William Huang, M.D.
Dr. Huang, Assistant Professor of Urology and Principal Investigator for the NYU HIFU trial, is a urologist specializing in urologic cancers. He has lectured and received awards for his research at both national and international meetings, and has published widely in the field of urologic oncology.
Herbert Lepor, M.D.
Dr. Lepor, Professor and Martin Spatz Chair of the Department of Urology, is the Medical Monitor overseeing the trial. Dr. Lepor is an expert in the treatment of prostate cancer and has has authored over 181 peer-reviewed articles, 50 book chapters, and 12 books related to prostate cancer, benign prostatic disease, and the pharmacology of the prostate.
