Is the NYU HIFU Prostate Cancer Clinical Trial Right for Me?

The NYU HIFU clinical trial is for men who have undergone radiation therapy for prostate cancer in the past, and who are now experiencing a recurrence of localized prostate cancer.

NOTE: Men who have been newly diagnosed with primary prostate cancer may qualify for HIFU treatment at an International HIFU Center. Read more about HIFU for the treatment of primary prostate cancer >>

In order to qualify for this clinical trial, you must:

  • Have organ-confined, recurrent prostate cancer (stage T1c or T2a)
  • Have been treated with external beam radiation therapy 2 or more years ago
  • Be between age 40 and 80
  • Have a Gleason score ≤7
  • Have a PSA level between 0.5 ng/ml and 10 ng/ml
